San Teodoro

San Teodoro is located on a wonderful stretch of the north-eastern coast of Sardinia. The numerous beaches of pure white sand with clean shallow waters and pink granite cliffs overlooking the emerald green sea makes it a favourite destination of many tourists. Just 27 Km from the port and airport of Olbia, San Teodoro offers a hinterland rich in Mediterranean vegetation, with environmental trails of rare beauty. The coast with its headlands, coves and cliffs is ideal for boat trips to the beautiful islands of the Natural Park of Tavolara, Molara and Molarotto. The town is very lively, with many local restaurants, pizzerias, lounge bars, ice cream parlours, nightclubs, shops selling characteristic products and lots more. In addition there is the option of practising sports such as horse riding, golf, tennis, scuba diving, football, hiking, water sports, windsurfing, kite surfing, diving, to name but a few. After a day by the sea, all that remains is to choose where to go to sip an aperitif before a dinner of fish or typical local meat of Sardinian roast suckling pig. A pleasant walk through the evening market amidst the typical stalls is the perfect after dinner pastime, perhaps enjoying a tasty ice-cream. For those who want to continue the evening there are also several nightclubs with live music.
